The City of Shasta Lake (City) is solicited qualifications and proposals from qualified Consultant/Contractor teams to provide design/build services related to the design and construction of a new City Hall and Community Room Center complex.  It is the intent of the City to hire a single highly qualified design/build team that can provide the following services to the City:

Project Management;
Preliminary and Final Professional Architectural and Engineering Design Services;
Environmental Compliance and Permitting;
Services During Construction; and
Project Construction

Interested Consultant/Contractor teams (Project Teams) are invited to submit qualifications in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ&P).  The City expects to accomplish all work associated with the project within the established budget of $5,700,000.  The successful Consultant/Contractor team (Project Team) must be aware of the budget limitations and be able to provide a clear plan for completing the required work that meets the project’s goals within the project budget constraints.

In order for a Project Team to be considered qualified, it must demonstrate experience in the successful completion of the design/build process for public facilities, including City Halls, Community Centers, and similar types of public buildings.  Additionally, the Project Team must comply will all provisions of the California Public Contract Code sections governing design/build contracts (22160-22169).  The Professional Services Agreement for the work is expected to be awarded in April, 2016.  Design work is anticipated to be completed by March, 2017, and construction work is anticipated to be completed no later than December, 2018.  Any Project Team responding to the RFQ&P must be willing to commit the necessary resources to the project within a mutually agreed upon schedule.

On June 7, 2016 after revieweing four proposals, and interviewing three teams. The City of Shasta Lake awarded the City Hall/Community Center Design Build Contract with Cerami and Browning Construction, Inc./Nichols, Melburg, and Rosetetto Architects.
