The City of Shasta Lake Housing Element serves as the City's framework for housing goals and policies.  The State required planning document is intended to guide decisions that facilitate the development, rehabilitation, and availability of housing in Shasta Lake.

On June 1, 2010 the City of Shasta Lake City Council adopted the 2009-2014 per Resolution CC10-51.  The adopted element was then submitted to the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for review and certification, the 2009-2014 was certified by HCD July 7, 2010 (view document here).
