The City applied for and has been awarded $311,398 by the State of California Department of Housing & Community Development CDBG Program for Cappuccino Court Public Improvements in Support of Affordable Housing New Construction (PIHNC).
The City applied for PIHNC funds to address the need for affordable housing units in the City of Shasta Lake. The offsite improvements (CDBG Grant No. 12-CDBG-8413) and impact fee deferrals will allow the 7 new single family housing units to be constructed at or below $165,000, thus making these homes affordable to homebuyers who qualify for our First Time Homebuyer Program.
The Developer and City have collaborated to make these homes available to low income homebuyers, homebuyers must meet the following income limits to be eligible to purchase:
2016 Maximum Gross Income Limits
Household Size Maximum Annual Income
