Does the City of Shasta Lake allow “Cottage Licenses” for commercial cultivation?
Yes.

Cottage Licenses are covered under the following type:
Type 1C: Specialty Cottage – up to 25 mature plants for outdoor; up to 500 sq ft for indoor; or up to 2,500 sq ft for mixed-light.

The City of Shasta Lake’s Application for Cultivation Permit, under Indoor/Mixed Light, Commercial A – is allowed for up to 5,000 sq ft of cultivation area, the cottage license would be covered under this license type.

Please note: Commercial Outdoor cultivation is not permitted in the City of Shasta Lake, indoor and mixed-light is available.
