The City of Shasta Lake (City) is soliciting qualifications and proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering design services and services during construction related to the construction of the 2.45 MG potable Centimudi Water Storage Tank. It is the intent of the City to hire a single qualified Consultant team that can provide the following services to the City: - Project Management
- Preliminary Engineering Design Services
- Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (Final Design) Services
- Assistance during Bidding & Construction
Interested consultants are invited to submit qualifications in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ&P). The City anticipates accomplishing the work associated with the project for approximately $250,000. The successful Consultant must be aware of the budget limitations and be able to provide a clear plan for delivering a bid package that meets the project goals within the project budget constraints.

In order for the Consultant to be considered qualified, the firm or project team must demonstrate experience in the successful completion of water storage tank construction projects. The Consultant services contract is expected to be awarded in September 2023, 100% design documents complete and ready to advertise in March 2024, and construction completed by December 2025. The actual time frame to complete the work described in this RFQ&P will be negotiated with the successful Consultant. Any Consultant responding to the RFQ&P must be willing to commit the necessary resources to the project within a mutually agreed upon schedule.
