The City of Shasta Lake (City) is soliciting qualifications and proposals from qualified consultants to prepare a Uniform Volumetric Water Rate Study. It is the intent of the City to hire a single qualified Consultant that can provide the following services to the City: - Project Management
- Financial Plan Development
- Cost of Service Analysis
- Water Rate Model Development
- Report Preparation and Presentation
- Proposition 218 Notification
Interested Consultants are invited to submit qualifications and proposals in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ&P). The City anticipates accomplishing the work associated with the project for approximately $50,000. The successful Consultant must be aware of the budget limitations and be able to provide a clear plan for delivering a bid package that meets the project goals within the project budget constraints.

In order for the Consultant to be considered qualified, the firm or project team must demonstrate experience in the successful completion of water utility rate studies.
|

The Consultant services contract is expected to be awarded in October 2023 with study completion estimated to be June 2024. The actual time frame to complete the work described in this RFQ&P will be negotiated with the successful Consultant. Any Consultant responding to the RFQ&P must be willing to commit the necessary resources to the project within a mutually agreed upon schedule.
